General Labourer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a General Labourer, to assist in the maintenance of our yard, preparation of our rental fleet, assisting of trades persons and general shop duties.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prep equipment for rental – perform function checks and fuel as required
  • Inspect returned equipment for damages.
  • Assist with safety inspections.
  • Pick up of parts.
  • Yard maintenance – grass cutting, snow removal, garbage pick-up.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Assist tradesmen as needed – mechanics, welders, painters, drivers, etc.
  • Complete all required paperwork.
  • Ensure standards for safe working conditions are followed and participate in all Company safety training programs and requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in a shop, manufacturing or construction environment
  • Flexible and able to work shifts, overtime and weekends when deemed necessary for the completion of work
  • Must have valid and clean driver’s license, DZ license an asset
  • Forklift, scissor lift and zoom boom experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (English), both oral and written
  • Prefer candidate that lives locally
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must be physically fit
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment

RED SEAL WELDER

Job Description

We are currently looking for top-notch Red Seal Welder with a minimum of (5) years’ experience in GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PLASMA and SMAW processes. Fabricators perform a variety of work from repairs to our rental and fleet equipment to fabrication of equipment accessories, replacement parts, prototype designs and SPFX projects. We offer an excellent hourly wage, with a guaranteed 40 hours+/week.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Set-up machines and equipment.
  • Operate grinding and sanding equipment.
  • Operate various cutting equipment, as well as metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Ensure standards for safe working conditions are followed.
  • Participate in all Company safety training programs and requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with Shop Manager regarding equipment status, availability and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with all relevant Health and Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • CWB certification (preferred, will certify qualified persons)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings and welding process specifications
  • Ability to operate the necessary computer programs for CNC equipment

AFTERNOON AZ DRIVER (MON – THURS 1:00pm – 11:30pm)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an AZ Driver to transport aerial lift equipment (scissor lifts and zoom booms) on a float trailer. This position is for the afternoon shift, Monday - Thursday, 1:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform daily vehicle inspection of truck as required by law and complete the paperwork prior to leaving yard.
  • Load and unload equipment.
  • Secure all loads as required by law using chains/binders and straps.
  • Perform basic maintenance on truck/trailer, i.e. greasing, inspection of chains, etc.
  • Report any defects or concerns regarding truck/trailer and rental equipment to Shop Manager.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English.
  • Work well independently, as well as in a team environment with other drivers and dispatchers.
  • Complete all required paperwork.
  • Maintain safety as the priority in all tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • AZ Class Drivers License
  • Clean abstract
  • Minimum 5 Years experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the GTA
  • Prefer candidate lives locally
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must be physically fit
  • Willing to perform various duties in shop environment when driving schedules slow down

310T MECHANIC

Job Description

We are currently seeking a fully licensed 310T mechanic to be responsible for fleet maintenance, diagnosis and repair of various trucks, trailers, cranes, boom trucks and small vehicles. We offer an excellent hourly wage, with a guaranteed 40 hours+/week.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform safety inspections, routine PM inspections and maintenance on vehicles/equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
  • Complete Parts Request Forms for required parts.
  • Complete all required service documentation.
  • Perform off-site repairs on equipment when breakdowns occur.
  • Communicate effectively with Shop Manager regarding equipment status, availability and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with all relevant Health and Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Full 310T license
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Propane, hydraulic, electrical and heavy equipment experience an asset, but willing to train
  • Must have own mechanic's tools
  • Must have valid and clean driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills (English) in both oral and written
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work overtime and/or weekends when required to complete necessary tasks
